Sam MaesOctubre 5, 2022Room was in disappointing state of repair and outdated. I certainly would recommend the AC hotel in l’Illa Diagonal which has extremely friendly staff and cosy, well maintained rooms.
Paper thin walls - can hear every noise in the corridor. Woken up at 7-8am each morning by doors slamming and cleaners banging around. Breakfast extortionate. The "gym" is a joke - just two machines.
Very nice hotel! Calm, relaxing area. Central located in Barcelona between all districts. Make sure to claim your Marriott Bonvoy points if you haven’t signed up yet!🏨

I get the style, but rooms are very compact, with thin walls and peeling laminate. Solo travelers only, who NEED close rail access.
