Small, but enjoyable rooftop pool with patio chairs and tables (at times, people are up here drinking and having fun)... nice getaway from boring apartment and/or craziness of bourbon st
Recommended to visit here for the Rockefeller oysters and hmmm yummy, great choice... they give you small complimentary oysters before your meal + my fiancé loved the specialty cocktails!!
Awesome exhibits on Katrina impact and Mardi Gras history... much larger than expected, be ready to take about 90 min or more to get thru both floors (especially if ya read each poster/artifact)!+
Hot and fresh and tasty beignet with powdered sugar... with some café au lait (iced is just okay, it's more of a coffee slushie)!!! If there's an empty table, take and be prepared to pay in cash
Market and restaurant for fresh, delicious seafood... it is all phenomenal - new England clam chowder was fishy and creamy + broiled whole fish were seasoned perfectly and hot when brought to table!!!
Wonderful breakfast/lunch spot... omelettes are quite large and very filling + add crispy hash browns and you're in heaven!!! They close at 230p, so don't miss out
Love the old-school transit!! This line runs thru Uptown area, towards the Zoo and Tulane / near Magazine St. It is super cheap, $3 for day pass!! Tram was quite full with both locals and tourists
Absolutely amazing... pita was freshly made and was brought to table constantly!!! So many of the dips and mezze plates and hummus were omg spectacular + lamb entree was beyond perfect
Luxury apartment rentals... thankfully not too loud from Bourbon St (which is the corner)! Got an Airbnb here and it was great, simple and updated style + some windows face the garage, tho :(
So great... early evening wasn't too crazy, love walking on the street with beer and listening to music all around (both DJs from bars and live street performers)!!!
Underwhelming, but quick overview of plantation lifestyle... many original things still in tact and lots of replica items too!!! Only $20 for entry and tour is included + it's the closest to downtown
Gotta walk outside from terminal to rental car area , but helpful its right on site (no buses or shuttle)... Hertz had best daily prices - great to drive out to plantations before going downtown!!
Right in the middle of the concourse , so not far walk to bathroom or quick foods or entrance/exit
Very quick TSA PreCheck line... it has a Starbucks (now with mobile ordering) and very few other food options but it is smaller concourse, so easy to walk to the end and back!!
It's like Reading Terminal market in Philly... lots of meat and fish and pastry inside + fresh fruit and other vendors outside!!! Definitely is fun to walk thru + most items are very reasonably priced
Really interesting history memorial, right downtown!!! Inside is air-conditioned and has displays of artifacts, roster of those who served in Civil War, and various info packets!
Staff was super friendly , fruity water was in lobby mid-afternoon... free shuttle to nearby attractions is clutch!!! Rooms are spacious and updated , nice place / would stay here in town again
Whoa... they've upgraded this so well with about 5 really great looking places!!! All the places had many options, all standard airport prices ($7-9 for egg/meat sandwich + $3-5 for coffee)!!!

Some of the best airport food I've ever had... lobster roll and tacos and grilled cheese all had very flavorful chunks of real lobster!!!! French fries were crispy and perfect
Chowder was too liquidy and fried lobster on stick was quite chewy... but shrimp and calamari and mac/cheese bites and sweet potato fries were all so great + tasty + perfectly crisped
Burger was phenomenal, so much flavour and perfect taste and filling toppings... dip it into to the sauce and it's even better!!! Fries are very thin + onion rings are MASSIVE AND GREASY, like whoa
Gyro platter was absolutely mouthwatering, best option!!! Ordered the grilled meat platter to share, plus the appetizer dips... no pita but oven-fresh breads!! Staff seemed overwhelmed tho, quite slow
Smelled delicious as we entered, space is very small and tight... complementary cheese, bruschetta, and pepperoni to start + veal parm was phenomenal, black squid pasta with seafood was on point!!!

Rented private party room and their event staff was helpful + transparent + simply awesome!! Food was standard, but super flavorful and perfect American cuisine... drinks were quite strong!!!!!
Beautiful venue, especially overlooking the river/lake... small space when divided, but neither party was disrupted by the other due to noise or wandering drunks or whatever!!
