The park is well-maintained and run by very friendly Rangers. The old bath house building is the best place to start your park visit.
Nice place to have a quiet picnic away from the crowds. Beautiful trees. This is how you do mini parks.
Try the house-made bacon and egg pastie. Or the ham and cheese croissant. They even pronounce croissant correctly there.
It was nice and quiet for breakfast. If you can find a peaceful meal in O'Hare then that's impressive. No kids menu, but shareable portions.
They have really good miso soup here. Everyone has miso soup, but theirs really stands out!
The desserts are excellent here, but don't overlook this place as a sandwich shop. Their sandwiches are excellent. I recommend the turkey.
This is the only place I know that you can quickly and easily get the pipe you need cut to your specs. Very helpful staff, even on New Years Eve just before closing.
