Great place, great food. Stick to the house specialties and curries. Order some fresh naan. Prices/portions are ok. Service is kind of slow due to demand. Great overall.

Cason BangMarzo 31, 2015Sometimes they miss things when busy, like making sure the silverware is clean or forget part of the order. Food is awesome enough to put up with it, though.- Perfect meal for 2-4: Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, Lamb Kofta and Garlic Naan. Best in town!

The Lamb Kofta and the Palak Paneer are both very good. I have a hard time picking between them every visit. Best Indian Food on Capitol Hill.

BommyEnero 6, 2016Dark and loud inside but food is solid. Get spinach momos and saag chana (spinach) with brown rice. Specialty coconut curry eggplant dish is deep-fried and greasy so avoid.

Like Chicken Tikka Masalla? Anna Purna's is different than other Indian places - sweeter and less tomato-ee. If you want something more like other places, try the Lhassa Curry w/Chicken.
