Andrew Lam: Famed for their SLV cabernet sauvignon that beat Bordeaux at the 1976 Paris tasting, they still make some of the very best cabs in Napa. Tastings from $15. Not to be confused with Stags' Leap Winery!

Sonya Singh: Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. There are 2 wines for tasting ( charged separately) but no flights so it's more akin to ordering wine at a bar. Nice tasting room though!
Andrew Lam: The Persian palace: cheesy or fun? I think the latter, and refreshingly unique among faux French chateaus. Tastings feature generous pours, (Malbec is their best). Served with pistachios, naturally.

Andrew Lam: This is the Disneyland of Napa with crowds of tourists to match (they even do tours in Mandarin now), but the Mission-style architecture is pretty, the wine isn't bad, and it's a nice intro to Napa.
Visit Napa Valley: Chateau Montelena caused a sensation when their 1976 Chardonnay put California wines on the map and beat French wines to take top honors at a Paris blind tasting.
Tina Hui Tina Hui: One of the best winery tours, especially in lovely weather, their garden is a treasure chest of creative wonders and landscaping expertise.
Andrew Lam: This is Taittinger's Napa outpost complete with faux 18th century château, but it is all quite fun. Rather than a full tasting, go for a glass of Le Rêve Blanc de Blancs - it really is a "dream."
