Olivia PNoviembre 17, 2016The fried chicken is white meat, moist and the crust is perfect!! Not greasy at all!!Their apple pie is really cinnamony, tender flaky crust and the vanilla whipped cream is lightly sweetened.

Their current business hours are Tues-Sat 11am-2pm. And yes the fried chicken sandwich is tender & delicious. Couldn't choose b/t choc chip cookie & strawberry shortcake so got both, nom! ;)

If you're looking for something other than their fried chicken sandwich, they also have superb brisket and egg salad sandwiches. Come early (before 12:30) for the brisket though - it sells out fast.

I recommend the Chicken Salad because the bread in the sandwich is merely mediocre. Also make sure to try the Lemon Ice! They usually run out so don't go right before closing.

Keith FoxeMayo 18, 2010The lines are long, they run out of chicken but it is a success story because of the slaw -- jalapenos, cabbage and some secret ingredients. Good scones, and lemon ice. It all works.- Although the line is often intimidating, it moves quickly. Enjoy the sandwiches, and don't skip the molasses cookies.
