Oysters are the main event here, and waitstaff is knowledgeable in helping select them to your taste. Beware the per pound pricing on Dungeness crab off-season. Price at Annex was $28 vs. $12 at Pike
I love the look and vibe here and the menu LOOKS fantastic. But I've been three times, and the apps and entrees are consistently disappointing. Highly recommend for beer and clams/oysters but no more.
Kumamoto Oysters: EPIC; Scallops: Best Ever...and the service was epic. Guy took 5 minutes to tell us how they made our scallops so good when we asked.
Brand new lunch menu is awesome!! Lower prices, new items, & they now have Olympia oysters and 7 others!! They have a new happy hour menu coming out soon as well can't wait to see what's on it!!!
Oysters yes. Whole trout a whole-hearted No. Overcooked and a lot of bones left behind. Charred skin ruins the arugula bed. You'll spend your whole time carving through your plate for little reward.
drinks were on the weaker side. staff was very friendly & knowledgable. disappointed that there were shells in my oysters. The $55 lobster roll wasn't good, was over cooked and had very little taste
Never seeing worse service towards finding a table for a young family of 3 with one toddler. They made our life impossible, so we had to leave. Don't waste your time here is you have kids.
The Ballard Annex Oyster House serves fresh seafood—plenty of oysters & shellfish, Dungeness crab & Maine lobster, chowders made-to-order at the steam bar.
