The name BIKINI BERLIN came from Bikinihaus, which is how locals affectionately called the building in the 1950s. The two-tier architecture reminded them of the then daring new swimwear fashion.

Sehr schönes und frisches Konzept. Tolles Gebäude bzw. Architektur. Glaswand zum Zoo (Affengehege). Tipp: bei schönem Wetter oben auf's Dach.. 'n Café und chillen :)

Quite different from the other malls in the city. Many small shops from local designers, instead of the usual global fashion brands.
Def. a different approach to the mall concept. Not for everyone, but I liked it, esp. the Gestalten store.

Forget Alexa - this is a cool shopping mall. No H&Ms or REWEs to be found in here. Shops seems to have been handpicked for their unique selections of wares. But cool products come with high prices.
