C ReyFebrero 28, 2018Everything you want in a food court, without all the chain restaurants. Whatever cuisine or treat you desire, you can prob find it here. The lunch crowd can be heavy at times but lines move quick.- Best food court/fresh market in loop, everything from raw food, banh mi sandwiches, artisanal chz, patisseries, kosher deli, sushi, juice bar, gourmet grilled chz, belgian frites, italian hot choco.

DanFebrero 28, 2015There's a variety of high-quality, made-to-order, fresh-food places. But there's only one Fumare Meats. The Montreal-style smoked pastrami is one of the best things I have eaten.
All the deserts I've had are really good, like the macarons & their signature chocolate desert is amazing! Just wish the employees cared to be there.
Tom ShakelyMayo 20, 2011Like Philadelphia's Reading Terminal, Chicago's 15,000 sq. ft. French Market is great for a taste bud tour. Closed Sundays, head here for local cheeses, meats, produce, and, of course, free samples.
It's easy to get overwhelmed with the crowds and all the options - but everything is really good, so you prolly can't go wrong with any vendor in there.

Expensive but worth every penny. The creme filling in the macaron is addictive.

Love the Pastoral farmhouse veggie sandwich and the Flip crepes... And loop juice. I could go on, the French market has a great atmosphere.
Overhyped. Some unique options for a food court (French patisserie, dim sum, Korean, Belgian frites 'n beer) but prices are high, quality is all over the place, and the space is dingy.

Java, pistachio and red velvet Macarons are wonderful. Young man who works here is always helpful and friendly. Older Italian lady always behaves like you are bothering her, kind if grouchy!

You can eat outside when it's nice out. Really pretty seating on Clinton.
