Rich GoldsmithMarzo 8, 2013Terminals and walkways are pretty small, so keep your head on swivel and be ready to dodge a few waves of humanity.
This would benefit from a larger cell phone lot and people using it. They need more cops out to keep the flow moving as too many people idle waiting for arrivals.
Dallas Love Field is a more intimate airport in the heart of Dallas.
West checkpoint is gone. If flying out of terminal 1 (Delta, United, Continental, and Sea Port) keep in mind there is only one concession stand with like $8 hot dogs.

Ali MirzaNoviembre 6, 2012Even though this airport is smaller than DFW I prefer using this (Easy to find parking & no big lines). Southwest is another reason btw :)
After experiencing this beautiful airy, efficient airport that's so close to Downtown Dallas I will never fly into DFW again.
Clear is worth it. Was able to skip an hour long security line with it.

A new terminal has been added with more renovations coming. Check out the new Love Field.
The restaurant choices are great! Love the new section of the terminal.

Check out Cool River Bar... They have power across the entire bar. Charge that phone!!
This small airport is easy to get in and out of fast!
Absolutely gorgeous airport and beautiful terminal. Great work Southwest.
If you rent a car make sure to try and skip the counters in the terminal. The wait can be very long - especially for hertz

There is nothing to love about Love! It is the crappiest airport in the US. I would rather spend the night in a chair at Laguardia.
Joel ReedEnero 19, 2015Early flight? Eat before you fly. Very limited selection of eateries open early. If the airport is open, the shops should be too, IMO.
Airport security is slow here - all day, all the time. Give yourself at least 45 minutes to get through security if you don’t have TSA pre-check.
Doors on the women's restrooms swing in, PITA to get baggage in and out. Major fail. Great for connections though, small and efficient airport for a large market like Dallas.
Because it's so small, just 15 gates, there are very few lines. Staff is so friendly and helpful!
- You can use your boarding pass to get to the food court in terminal 2 even if you are flying out of terminal 1.
New concourse has real food, updated restrooms, and lots of space!

The rennovation on this airport is exquisite! Turned a dump into a castle! Beautiful!
