- Erin LaneEnero 6, 2013The poached egg, polenta, & shrimp brunch special was one of the best things I've ever eaten. If it's not available, baked eggs are supposedly very similar.
- Rodrigo Narciso G da SilvaEnero 3, 2016I came here for brunch. Not crazy busy. Very nice staff, good service and I loved the food. The Carbonara pasta is delicious! The "purgatorio" eggs is good but its like pasta (lots os tomato sauce).
- Steve SchulerOctubre 16, 2014Fruiti di mare into squid ink pasta into the pork chop, can't miss. Italian beers are great, wine list is exceptional, cocktails out of this world. One of the best & most consistent places in NYC
- The uova funghi is a delicious brunch dish with polenta, cremini mushrooms, and poached eggs. The carbonara pasta is also great. Outdoor seating in the back now, too.
- Joey JAgosto 15, 2015Great date spot in the west village. Not a traditional Italian menu, but the food is superb. Try the Branzino. Perfectly prepared. One of my my favorite dishes.
- The Corcoran GroupEnero 14, 2014While the pastas here are pretty much to die for (especially the Carbonara), don't pass on the duck. It's up there with one of best duck dishes we've had.
- Natalyia PerrieFebrero 26, 2018A tiny restaurant with big taste. Everything they prepare is spectacular and their pasta is some of the best I've ever had. If you want the best seating ask if the chefs' corner is available.
- Chefs FeedAgosto 2, 2016The tender braised octopus picks up a charred crisp from the grill and is just simply delicious. The rice beans, tossed with an addictive vinaigrette, make a nice accompaniment. Leer más
- Josephine SonDiciembre 23, 2014Love the vibe of this place. Definitely sit at the chef's counter, get a bottle of wine and order any or all of the pasta!
- Zach CarlileFebrero 15, 2018This might be my new favorite spot. You 100% need to get the: Bone Marrow, Carbonara, and Bussell Sprouts. Great date spot.
- refinery29Agosto 3, 2014What to Order: We don't have a bone to pick with anything on the menu, really. But we could make a meal out of the bruschette. Leer más
- Christina StraussSeptiembre 28, 2013Start with wine & ricotta costini @Anfora. Then octopus salad, pappardelle bolognese ragu, skirt steak & side of corn. Wish someone would have provided better wine recos. Other than that = perfection!
- Bruschetta, Bucatini, Pappardelle, great cocktails, great wine selection. Also recommend the branzino. You can do a walk-in and grab wine next door while you wait.
- Elyse EstradaAgosto 3, 2012All the food is divine! Can't go wrong with the octopus, bass tartare starters and the Orata cooked in parchment paper with vegetables. Even the chocolate sorbet is fancy with a little hint of salt.
- RisaSeptiembre 21, 2012Grub Street off-menu dish: Ricotta Tortellini. "There's plenty of pasta on the menu, but one that's always available is this rich combo of creamy ricotta & seasonal produce such as beets or eggplant."
- Morgan McKeeNoviembre 13, 2017Quaint but vibey (queue loud music). Food feels simple as in no frills, but then again no need to complicate homemade pasta. Scallops were excellent choice for this seafood lover
- Jeff SolomonDiciembre 29, 2017Sea bass was excellent. Try the different bruschetta apps. All pasta homemade. Say hi to the Minnesota master chef on the way out!
- BenFebrero 21, 2015Great date spot, fills up quickly. Order some shared plates - octopus is grilled perfectly.
- Elliot WehnerEnero 11, 2015Great pasta, can't go wrong with any of them. Sides are great too, nice wine list. Try to sit at the chef's counter to be in the action
- Antonis SkordylisEnero 3, 2016Get the carbonara for sure. Even if sharing as a starter. For brunch, the breakfast plate is very well done - but the bacon disappoints.
- samuel rosenMayo 20, 2014If you want something simple, they'll make a plain pasta with olive oil and cracked pepper. It was delicious (and great for vegans)
- The chicken is different than the JW chicken at Barbutto, so hard to compare, but amazing for their use of spices. Get it to share with a plate of the buccatini.
- Kate WillskyAbril 13, 2018Bruschetta, octopus, pasta, all amazing. Fun vibe, good drinks, and fairly reasonable prices for the neighborhood.
- Ashley SkovAbril 9, 2018The pastas are amazing, just like at sister restaurant L’artusi. Highly recommend the duck mezzalune and bolognese.
- Amazing little gem - it never fails. Pastas and risottos are the star here. Also the olive oil cake with sea salt ice cream.
- Jo RausenJulio 22, 2012Great pasta but I'm more than a little disappointed that my 'seasonal fruit salad' (ringing in at $10!) only consisted of melon. Mint was the only redeeming touch. (brunch)
- jessica m. hintermeisterSeptiembre 17, 2012Ricotta Tortellini: rich combination of creamy ricotta and seasonal produce (eggplants pictured here) #cachet #supersecret
- julia tNoviembre 28, 2014I love dell'anima! Cute, great ricotta with the bread at lunch, and a romantic spot for quality pastas at dinner.
- Kathryn DAbril 23, 2016Lovely restaurant with a thoughtful menu. Start with the bruschetta, especially the spicy red pepper.
- Alyssa CalderoneAgosto 8, 2014Everything is outstanding, try the bruschetta [spreads] and bone marrow
- What's Good HereAgosto 8, 2014Be sure to get the charred octopus (rice beans, chorizo, chicories) as a starter. Highly recommended.
- Get a blood orange negroni to start - all of the food is amazing so you can't go wrong with your order
- Halstead PropertyNoviembre 30, 2011For dessert, try something out of the ordinary and get the cornbread pudding, served with a fruity fig compote and perfectly light ricotta ice cream.
- Original PenguinOctubre 26, 2010One of our favorite Italian spots in Manhattan. Grilled sweetbreads with parsley- root puree, soft- scrambled egg and bottarga bruschetta… simply superb. Not to mention the drinks - delicioso!
- Laura LachmanOctubre 29, 2011a hidden gem for brunch, if you want to avoid the waits at other places. All of the egg dishes are great. Splurge on the pasta bolognese.
- Lori ShermanAgosto 11, 2017Great food, carbonara terrific, noisy restaurant though, sit at the chefs bar... it's fun!
- F-Factor NutritionOctubre 17, 2012Not only is the food delicious, the restaurant is a certified green restaurant for being sustainable. The wine list is also impressive.
- Start with the Octopus, it's simply amazing and what Dell is known for. Feeling adventurous? Then start with the sweetbreads. They melt in your mouth. Yum.
- Chelsea BalkanAbril 1, 2018#FabuLIST #DubiDO the star of the meal here is the pasta. Share three between two people. #1 papparadelle #2 Tajarin #3 Tagliatelle
- Susan J CampbellMayo 5, 2018Great food prepared with a light touch. Entertaining staff. Highly recommend
- Sit at the bar, order a negroni, some dips with crostini, split the tart endive salad and get the carbonara.
- Tae KimDiciembre 21, 2013Absolutely amazing Italian restaurant. Make sure you make reservations for seats at the chefs bar.
- Nicolette RomeroNoviembre 2, 2014I know chicken can be boring, but the pollo al diavolo is most definitely not! The carbonara was great, but the chicken is the way to go!
- Nikhita MahtaniFebrero 27, 2016Cute date night spot! I like the carbonara the best, and the almond cake.
- MVQJulio 7, 2013Must have meal--the uova fungi misti-it unlike any breakfast dish I've had before and super filling!!
