Avoid this airport on Friday afternoons. Piss poor slow from check in to TSA all the way to the gates. Give yourself 3 hours during this time!

Honest people over at United. Two thumbs up.
Wifi here is the worst. Free but never works. Use an airline lounge wifi. They aren't the fastest but they work.
United is annoying. Their self check in is all the way around the corner from bag check in. So if you have no bags go there. No signs. Ugh.
chelsea IrwinMayo 20, 2013This doesn't have anything to do with the airport specifically...but avoid flying united airlines!!! They are terrible. Delays and cancellations, planes breaking down. What a mess.
Baggage carousel hell. Not very efficient to have 23 arriving United flights going onto one carousel!
20 minute wait for a gate. Avoid this airport like the plague.
Dulles diamond lanes have new backscatter x-ray
The people mover replacement ("AeroTrain") is not moving. No one seems to know why. So much for improved technology.
