This place thoroughly deserves its current #1 ranking. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The pastries are great, and the coffee is simply as good as it gets.

I had a double late, carrot cake and flodni . All were excellent and at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and seems as a family. They got outdoor seating but inside is cool.

Amazing coffee beans mixed with a cool place and great staff. I asked for a Kenyan double espresso. It was amazingly done, flavor was creamy, fruity and extremely strong. Love it.

Lovely atmosphere, smily/super friendly staff, and amazing coffees in Budapest make this one a must try. For working, they also have standing tables at back. With loyalty card, 10th cup is free.

This is the place that makes you a coffee addict. And that cappuccino will follow me in every place I go. Everything is excellent. The cake, the service and the environment. But the coffee...just wow!

Espresso embassy has a drip bar with V60, aeropress and friends. Beans are from relatively new local Budapest roasters called "casino Mocca". Excellent Kenya on drip! I like self-served tapped water.

The coffee was really really good - if you've heard of Taylor Street in The UK then think as good as that - and the staff were friendly and so helpful. Highly recommend.

Must visit when in Budapest. It's a walking distance from the parliament. Had an excellent batch brew of natural Kenya. Just ask the staff for recommendations!

EE is at the vanguard of Budapest's third-wave coffee scene. The baristas (some of them int'l award winners) are friendly and precise -- every cup is prepared with care. Ask for drink recommendations.

Near to the basilica it was the nicest place to warm up. Loved the cheesecake 🍰 & high quality coffee ☕️ The staff was really friendly and helpful.

The place is very trendy with limited space. But the coffee is surely one of the best third wave coffee or whatever people call this and the staff are very nice.

Had a Cappuccino (double) which was great. Sadly we got there a bit late on a Sunday morning and most of the pastries were finishes (whaaat??) Anyway...it was a cool spot and the Coffee was good.

good coffee & delicious flodni for brek. the croissants were also sinfully good if you like it crispy like me, albeit slightly too oily. gr8 place to plug your headphones in & ponder where 2 go next

Unglaublich freundliches Personal. Der Cappuccino dort war einer der besten, die ich bisher getrunken habe. Zudem hat ein großer mir 800 Forint gekostet.

I've tried various coffee places in Budapest. This is by far the strongest and tastier coffee. I would say the best cappuccino. Carrot cake was OK and creamy inside. Staff indeed is like best friends.

Get the flódni to eat: this Jewish cake has poppyseed, walnut, apple, plum jam, and this is the best in town. In summer drink espresso-tonic.

Best coffee in town, the big chains are nowhere near! The atmosohere is really nice, however, the cafe can get crowded ocasionally (because of obvious reasons). The prices are also reasonable.

Minimalist design coffee shop with great barista style coffee. Feels like a little bit of London. Serving local Hungarian roasted beans. 8/10

I've had 2 filter coffee, and a cold filter here, and it's an impressive adventure in the world of tastes. It's a lovely place, good design...highly recommend this place for coffee lovers.

Like everyone says , incredible coffee and super nice staff! We came at noon and they were almost out of cakes.. The barista proactively let us know we were welcome to grab food from across the street

Probably the best coffee in the city. Local people are experienced and really nice 😊. I enjoy the design of coffeehouse. Definitely recomend it 👍

A great place to spend a couple of hours in the morning. Nothing but coffee (very good coffee) and some starchy foods, and plain tables - just for work or internet surfing. Lotta people w/computers ;)

The unquestionable no.1 specialty coffee shop in Budapest. Staff is always friendly, coffee is amazing and home pastries complete the morning visit to this amazing downtown location.

Excellent, modern coffee drinks. I prefer less acidity, but still it is one of the best espresso in the city, from the hands of the best baristas in Hungary.

Surely one of the best coffee experiences in central europe. A must try for everybody, especially coffee geeks. A coffee-nazi free atmosphere. Tap water free as well.

Hard to find but the inner room and the various coffee products are the main attraction of the espresso bar. English-speaking staff, very polite behaviour. 9/10

They're typical third wave coffee place! I hardly find a place to sit but coffee is 10 out of 10! And they were really nice, they provided plenty of information about the beans that I bought.
