Massive beer list, charming servers, & tasty, quick food (the huge kale & bacon salad is only missing dates). Perfectly cozy for a date, but only come with a big group if you have time to wait.

Good food, good drinks, but it was very crowded & too pricey. Many people use this as a pre-game/meetup before shows at the Fillmore, which means you should avoid going here immediately before a show!

Enjoy your beer and a half (20oz pour) and a flat bread before a concert. On nights without a show, expect a very quiet ambience.

I don't know what's going on with those draft wines, but I was hammered after 2 glasses and my head feels like it might never stop pounding. Super tasty wines though and quite cozy.

Great beer list, wines on tap and a fantastic vibe. Perfect first date space. Light food in the flatbreads and hearty chicken pot pie. Always a good time and the staff is great. Highly recommended

Awesome and unique beer selection and great draft wines. The sliders are incredible! The salads are REALLY big - think of "The Big Salad" from Seinfeld - but they are all delicious & great to share.

Fat Angel doesn't bill itself as a wine bar—it also has a comprehensive beer list and robust food menu for full dinner dining. But with wines on draft and an impressive cheese plate, it definitely is.

the most outstanding chicken pot pie i've ever had. anywhere. also, the truffle oil mac n' cheese was dyn-o-mite! also, the endive salad, mushroom & truffle oil flatbread and duck salami were awesome.

The trout salad is a life-changer. Check out the chalkboard for featured beers. Usually the best value here, too. Not good for big groups. Expect a wait if you have more than two.

Best chicken pot pie Ive ever had in my life - full of flavor, not excessively creamy/starchy, lots of buttery flaky crust. Everything else was fantastic too!! The endive salad also was a standout

Unique and great beer selection, albeit not that extensive. Friendly bartenders too! Great place for a quiet drink and conversation.

The beer on tap is excellent but check out the bottle list for a large collection of reasonably priced bottles, including an extensive selection of sour beers.

Try the Roasted Red Grape, Walnut, Prosciutto, And Gorgonzola Flatbread - Delicious flatbread! Goes well with a Coronado Brewing Islander IPA!

Try the Mac 'N' Cheese - Substantial breadcrumbs cover the gooey Gruyere, aged cheddar, and Parmesan while the macaroni pasta clings to every last drop.

Draft wine are great. Ask for tasting and choose your favorite. Mine was Cabernet Franc.

They open at 4pm, but just for wine, the full food menu isn't available until 5, so plan your mac and cheese outing accordingly.

This is definitely one of the best meals in recent memory...we ordered a bottle of prosecco, a cheese plate, the mac & cheese, a flat bread and a huge salad...everything was fabulous!

Sliders are amazing. You'll never have sliders like them. Chicken pot pie is also incredible. My favorite spot in SF. Enjoy
