Amazing place. Fab variety of fresh produce, rare & wild varietals. Gorgeous shops & food vendors. Great for brunch or place to buy lovely groceries for a special occasion. Frog H. Farmpeaches, Wow!
On The Embarcadero, checkout the marketplace, Blue Bottle Coffee and Pepples Donuts. People watch as workers come and go on the ferries and rush hour time. Great bay views and outdoor dining fun.
Fresh farm grown produce, homemade pastries, fresh cooked food. Huge variety of fresh cooked food!! One of the things we have enjoyed best so far! Something for everyone. Don't miss it!!
The marketplace has lots of great shops and restaurants in it, and is a nice place to walk around (plus, views of the Bay). And there's a good farmers market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Local purveyors, hawking everything from cheese and chocolate to cupcakes, line the arcades of this historic waterfront building; the city’s best farmers’ market sets up out front three days a week.
From the delicious blueberry tartlet bursting with ripe fruit from Frog Hollow Farms to the cheesy masterpieces from Cow Girl Creamery, San Francisco's Ferry Building has many gourmet treasures. Leer más
Fresh food, independing purveyors, yummy food outlets, a lovely Sur La Table shop for all your cooking needs (expensive however!) and Hog Island Oyster Co: best indoor food market in the world!?
If you like nice things, like gelato, mid-century pottery, cured meat, milk, chocolate, olive oli, oysters, Vietnamese food, coffee, books, views of the Bay, or architecture, you should visit here.
This indoor marketplace features a wide selection of food and drink options, from full service restaurants to takeaway counters. Local California produce and products are the star.
şeftaliler harika ve çilekler inanılmaz !! hayatımda yediğim en güzel meyvelerdi !! Her cumartesi kuruluyor saat 9 ile 2 arası. Bizim cumartesi pazarının lüks hali :D
It's like these guys were reading our journal when they selected the tenants – Cowgirl Creamery, Hog Island Oysters, Boccalone Salumeria, beekind, and Rancho Gordo among a few of our favorites.
What I like best about the ferry building is I don't have to choose. I can snack on Hog Island Oysters AND get a Roli Rotisando AND eat cowgirl creamerycheese AND get a geranium macaron at Miette.
Viele schöne Geschäfte und Restaurants, vor allem von Einheimischen besucht und nicht ganz günstig. Austern schlürfen, Fisch oder Shrimps essen und einen guten kalifornischen Wein dazu trinken.
Buy monthly Muni/Clipper cards here. Go to Cowgirl Creamery & Acme for cheese & bread. Pick up coffee at Blue Bottle. For dessert, try the rose macaron from Miette or oranges from Twin Girls Farm.
Probably the single best place for a tourist to get an understanding of Northern California foodie, hipster, coffee, and ethnic culture all in one spot. Beautiful architecture and bay front spot.
The Ferry Building has a lot of good vendors for unique and delicious food. The little bad thing is the prices for the goods are getting expensive. My "secret spot" there has a great view 😀
The smell of coffee surrounding inside of the entire building took me back to that exact time I've been to Italy for the first time as a 7 years-old kid. Lovely setting, lovely ambiance & atmosphere.
Lots of things to see and many eateries. Can eat inside the building or take outside and sit on the bench and eat. Be careful of the birds trying to beg for food. Don’t feed them!
Great variety of local, healthier options. It gets pretty busy so the sit-down restaurants usually have wait times unless you make a reservation, but usually not too long and worth it.
A place you can't miss in the city. Love the atmosphere here. Take a pastry a ACME Bakery, a drip at Blue Bottle, and go sit outside on the waterfront. Amazing.
When Chef is in the city and looking for the best ingredients the region has to offer, this is the perfect stop. Amazing quality and variety abound throughout the Ferry Building!
Crowded but a ton of fun. There's a lot of food options so walk around and nosh your way through various stalls. Ice cream, cheeses, pastries, cold cuts, it's all delicious!
Take your time to enjoy it all from one end of the building to the other and everything in between. It's a fantastic place, especially if your a foodie or lover of old buildings. The place is Yar!
This is a foodie heaven! Go there on Saturday morning and get a taste of all the amazing fruits, cheeses, smoked fishes, dips and more. Oh, and don't forget to grab an oyster plate.
A foodie paradise by the Bay. Check out organic fruit, sulphur free dried fruit, toxic free moisturizer, raw oysters, cowgirl creamery mt.tam, blue bottle coffee... What not to like? Except pricy
Concentration of nice restaurants and cute shops. Go there for lunch and hang out for a while. A lot of choices to buy nice and original souvenirs from local retailers.
Oysters, the Imperial Tea Court, Blue Bottle, it's an SF staple. Looking for a snack before the wedding, get the porchetta sandwich at the rolling roti.
Lots of little artisanal shops inside as well as some more established places (Peet's Coffee). Easily accessible from public transportation. Also easy to get ferry tickets etc.
Great place to start your day. Coffee and waffle at Blue Bottle if you have somewhere to be, breakfast sandwich or porridge at Il Cane Rosso if you don't.
Great place to peruse local eateries, take in sights of the bay, check out the farmers market, catch a ferry, grab a cocktail, meet friends, and bring family.
A great place to check out different local merchants: wine, oysters, flowers, cheese, bread, chocolates, it's a great way to spend the day. Saturday Farmers Market is awesome when the weather is sunny
É um aglomerado de bons restaurantes, lojas de produtos especiais e de objetos para a casa, com mil e uma coisinhas para querer levar na mala. 3ª 5ª sáb tem feira na praça em frente.

Ferry Building Marketplace
1 Ferry Building (at The Embarcadero) San Francisco, CA94111 Estados Unidos
We envision the Ferry Building Marketplace as a vibrant gathering of local farmers, artisan producers, and independently owned and operated food businesses and the customers they serve.
