A reservation is a must-have on a nice evening. Wait times are sometimes over an hour if it's crowded on a weekend! Get out of the "chicken tikka masala" rut. Try the malai kofta, or chicken korma!
Food is delicious, but with nice weather the wait here gets ridiculous. It's quicker to order your food to-go and eat it at a Rainey bar. Bring cash in case their card machines go down (does happen).
Our favorite dishes here are the dahl makhani (lentils in a creamy sauce) and Malabar (lamb, coconut, onion). The level of spiciness here depends on who's in the kitchen, so it's a good idea to ask.
Eclectic and artsy stationary trailer that serves naan freshly baked in their tandoori oven, as well as other authentic Goan dishes from Goa, India. We suggest the Rechard Masala Shrimp.
The environment is great. Sometimes they even have live Indian style music and fire throwing shows! The prices are quite high for a trailer food spot , curries range from $9-14 . BYOB NO CORKING FEE!
Superb chai, really good place to drink it for hours and snack on bel puri. Their Goan shrimp curry is also excellent but soooo spicy (prepare thyself)
Great food - get the samosas for the appetizer; tikka masala, rogan josh, or saag for your entree; and add a side of naan. Open for dinner until midnight/2am. Also, BYOB!
Try the fruit and nut naan, lamb samosa, and the Saag paneer. Yummy. Another goodie is Kashmiri with chicken or chickpeas. Call it in if you want to go. Great food, period.
Tikki Masala (I think that was the name) curry was soooo good! :D Got a free naan for checking in on Yelp. Nice place. Server gave good suggestion for curry.
FYI: Gratuity is added to parties of 5 or more. You can still bring your own wine but they charge a $15 corking fee or buy a bottle of theirs and they waive the fee.
Highlights: briyani rice, tandoori chicken, garlic na'an bread, tikka masala curry, rose lassi. Everything is good, average spending is $20 per person. Yummmmm
I had the Coconut Curry with Tilapia and it was quite delicious, although my friend's Saag Paneer was pretty amazing too. The girls at the table were digging the Rose Non-Lassi, but did add some vodka
This place is HOPPING on a Staurday night. It's first come, first served, but over all lmtd seating. Call or come early. Food is good. I had lamb vindaloo. Chai to drink. Kulfi at the end. All Very Gd
Chiken tikka was out of the world. Loved keema naan. However the chicken korma was not even close. It had huge chunks of meat just thrown into sauce. The chicken in the korma was tasteless
Wow, I'm certainly impressed. I couldn't tell you in a million years what I ate, but when I'm back in town, I'm coming here. The wait was VERY long, but grab friends and a few beers to make it faster.
Worst service ever. Tiny portions of the entrées. The picture I posted is the portion of picked mangoes. The host is the only nice person there. Never coming back
For being Goan and asking for "extra spicy" my vindaloo tasted less spicy than my mom's spaghetti sauce and servings were tiny. Skip it and do Bombay Bistro instead.
