Lines at the terminal 1 TSA check point are very long for the flights leaving in the Morning.
Try to fly out around noon, the security lines aren't as long as in the morning or afternoon/evening.

If you want Pollo Campero (post security) you'll have to ask an airport worker to do you a favor and buy it for you & bring it past security to you.
If you are coming in on a international flight and plan to connect in ATL plan on at least a two hour layover. The custom & immigration lines are long at this airport.
I remember riding on the weird people movers. The new trains are a vast improvement!
