Beth BondJulio 13, 2018We were told to visit the Chinese Gardens over the Japanese. They were exquisite! We can't imagine anything better. Beautiful vignettes with lots of great info on Chinese culture. Totally worth it!

We ate at the restaurant and it was great. We went on the tour. We saw great flowers and plants. It was clean and the restrooms were great.

Maybe the 3-tea wild growing tasting menu.
Buy a membership because the tranquility is intoxicating a decent tea house but when you ask for a tea cold you shouldn't receive a mass market bottled tea

HISTORYAbril 22, 2010The garden opened in 2000. Most of the plants featured in the garden are indigenous to China, but no plants were brought from China due to import bans. Some plants in the garden are 100 years old.
