J BEnero 28, 2018This airport is dominated by JetBlue and is definitely #3 airport of ‘5 Overall Best Airports’ list. It’s ease of use and the fact you can often arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure!

Maui HawaiiSeptiembre 17, 2013The renovations are pretty impressive. The new bar/restaurant looks like something out if South Beach Miami. One of the better little airports around!
Now has a fill indoor brand new terminal with restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, gift shops!! They even put charging terminals directly under the seats in the waiting area so I can leave 4sq. Tips!
Great airport to travel out of. No ridiculous crowds. Really nice employees.
Outlets built in at the seats. Fabulous LBC restaurants at your gate (George's Greek, Taco Beach, McKennas, 4th & Vine wine bar). No line at security. Curbside check-in. WHY FLY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE?
So easy to get in and out of. Clean bathrooms. Surprisingly good food options despite small size. Cool mid-century modern design.

Lara TNoviembre 7, 2022My new favorite airport...airy and no-frills. Granted, no special treatment if you have higher status with an airline. The ease of the rest of it makes up for a little waiting in line to drop luggage.
I love this little airport! Always quick TSA lines no matter the day and the airport is usually very clean.

Best airport ever. No line at TSA precheck & super cute souvenirs! Sometimes a back plays while you wait!! Super easy airport!
John CliftonAgosto 20, 2014Long beach is the most "California" airport I've ever been to. The breezeways are nice and there are multiple outdoor wine bars. Wifi was surprisingly fast.
Super easy to navigate and feels like a time warp back to the 50s. One of my favorite airports.- J BEnero 28, 2018Make sure you don’t forget that there are plugs for your devices like literally everywhere in the terminal, in the places you least expect! Don’t worry though as all JetBlue aircraft have plugs!

Also look out for power plugs and USB ports between some o the terminal seats!

Best airport! Security is usually super fast compared to elsewhere.
Shannon RyanEnero 17, 2013They just finished redoing the gates and they are beautiful. A large upscale food court with good food options, two sit down restaurants with patios, and a big outdoor area.
Super easy going municipal airport. A breath of fresh air compared to other much larger airports.
>sigh< Remnants of a bygone era. Imagine actually “dialing” a phone or patch-cords plugged in by telephone operator. A piece of the past you might walk right past.

Hands down my favorite airport in the US. Love walking the tarmac to the plane... feels oh so presidential. The major renovations were tastefully done.
If you're visiting LA or LB, fly in here rather than at LAX. It's much less crowded and very airy.
