- Great Neapolitan pizza, and even sandwiches are made with pizza dough. Salads with fresh arugula and some creative cocktails. Tiny, but worth multiple visits.

Eating here reminds me of eating in Europe where ingredients are fresh, beer is the preferred drink over water, and a high-quality meal doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

The pizza is so good you don't need to load it with toppings. The simple pizzas are phenom and don't miss the frozen lemon sorbet.

Menomale, founded by a Naples native, Ettore Rusciano, and his wife– Mariya, brings authentic Neapolitan pizza to Brookland. Rusciano holds a Pizzaiolo certificate from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (True Neapolitan Pizza Association), a non-profit organization founded in 1984 in Naples.
