Forget the generic Cafe Rouge at the mall. Be better than that and choose the name equivalent next door. Food is authentic and tastes superb. Also very nice and warm hearted staff.
Fantastic casual pizza place. The best thing to do is to take your friends and pick-nick towel and eat the pizza right there in the beautiful natural surrounding. Pizza is Roman and it’s pretty good
Vegetarian pho was delicious. Dumplings were a slight disappointment , but still the best ones I tried in HKI. Good wine, cozy atmosphere, perfect place for a date or a group of friends
Very good Japanese food. Noodles are awesome, the chicken dumplings as well and the salmon was very good too. Try the herbal lemonade... totally worth it.

A beer friend's must visit bar, it has decent and high quality beer selection, cool interior and warm atmosphere. Friendly staff with expertise on beer.
Great beer list with lots of local and Finnish breweries on tap. Terrace is nice on a hot day but the road in front is busy.
Cosy and relaxed bar in the trendy Teurastamo area. Also has vinyl records on sale from the nearby record store. Good drinks and beer selection.
When the tower was renovated in 2010-2011, the mini elevator was also renewed. Try it out and ride all the way to the top!
Definitely worth a visit even if you're not into the museums, it's a really nice day trip just to walk around the area

Best public building in Helsinki. Buy a book, get a t-shirt, run through the exhibitions, hang out in the bar and terrace. Outside you can listen to urethane & wood, the ultimate Helsinki soundtrack.
Both the house and the studio are worth visiting. Very professional and motivated guides. You get plenty of time to explore and take pictures after the tour.
The museum and cafe are great, also the benches outside have wifi and afternoon sun.
Not only great for kids, but for grown-ups, too! The exhibitions are beautifully crafted to the smallest detail and reside in the old, strikingly beautiful, 1910 built building by E. Saarinen et al.
Very pleasant. You cannot find signs of 'do not touch' for which I give 10 points to this museum. And it has free entry!
