Es un imperdible de Chicago, muy bien organizado, interesante, limpio y lo que jamás había visto un submarino real (cómo llegó esto al interior de un museo? Hay un video al respecto!) lo ame! 🥰🥰🥰
This is probably the best museum I've been to. I usually don't like museums, but this museum is pretty fun and interactive. Took a while for me to walk through the whole museum and explore everything.
Really amazing experience for all ages, in a super old, beautiful building where the 1893 World Fair was held. The nazi submarine exhibit is amazing and the Tesla coil is awesome.
Don't miss the flight simulators on the top floor! And be aware that they can turn a full 360 degrees - can be a surprise if you don't realize that you can literally fly upside down in them.
Another perk of membership, besides free or discountedparking? The member lounge on the main level offers a quiet, relaxing space for coffee or hot cocoa, plus an array of comfortable couches.
One of the biggest museums size wise I've ever been to. It was awesome and totally worth it. Make sure to make the toys through out the exhibits. Must see the u boat it's amazing.
My favorite exhibit will always be the dollhouse. The story teller does a great job or narrating the individual rooms and trinkets contained within and without.
The grounds just south of the museum are a part of Jackson Park's Osaka Japanese Garden, which, like the museum itself, was a part of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition Ho-o-Den complex. Leer más
Unique and eclecticmuseum with lots of fun things to explore especially with kids - so much to touch and do. Coal mine is hoaky but fun for little ones.
Must-visit when in Chicago. From the outside you might be impressed, but when you get inside you will be flabbergasted. Many themes like German U-boat, Airplanes, forces of nature & much more
A great Chicago attraction featuring 35,000 artifacts and exhibits. Check out the large trainexhibit, fairy castle or even a recreated coal mine. Your eyes will be wide open and your brain a sponge.
Visit the chick hatchery to see the incubated eggs and the freshly-hatched. The interactiveexhibits are the best part for immersing yourself, even as an adult.
Be sure to visit when in Chicago - it's wellorganized and highly engaging, easily days worth of viewing; the U-505 submarine tour is a must visit and worth the extra price of admission
Easily one of the best science museums in the US. Everything is fun, interactive, just super cool. We saw chicks hatch, went through a mirror maze, and controlled the weather!
Sitting on the grounds of the 1893 World's Fair, kids & adults will enjoy themselves in this science wonderland. Take a whole day to immerse yourself in the exhibits from a submarine to a fairy castle
One of the main reasons I love this museum is because it is interactive. There is just so much to see and explore because the museum is so huge. Also, they have free demonstrations that are available.
The best museum visited these days in Chicago and New York. There are a lot of games to make for learn how is working phisics weather and more. It's adapt for children but also for adult. I love it.
Sitting on the grounds of the 1893 World's Fair, kids and adults will enjoy themselves running around the oversized moving replica of Chicago and a life size tornado that you get to control!
To the right of the omnimaxtheater, there is a small snack area. It has a ton of outlets of you need to charge a phone or laptop while you rleatnsome ice cream from the vending machines.
Come here early in the day. There are a lot of tours for exhibits and you want to give yourself time to do them. Also make sure to do the coal mining tour.
Everything is fun with lots of hands on learning. Love the mini experiment tables set up all over. I will say that the Robotics room that you have to pay extra for is not well managed.
