LA finally makes good on true Tex-Mex (Aus-Mex, actually) style breakfast tacos and proper queso. Transplants will feel so at home, they'll think a trip to the Broken Spoke or SoCo will follow...
Emily HAgosto 6, 2017Amazing breakfast tacos. Splurge for the $1 avocado add for optimal tastiness. Pecos (brisket) and Trinity (BEC & potato) were both delicious, but the Neches with charro beans was perfection
Definitely try the "Migas". It's scrambled eggs with cheese and onions all mixed together and it is simply outstanding. I had the one with Chorizo, be sure to add a bit of the house made red salsa.
My favorites are the Trinity with pico and the Guadalupe, both on flour tortillas. Their queso is on point, so don't forget to get a side of it. Add on a pack of flour tortillas to dip in the queso!

Dianna KMayo 30, 2017I loved Las Palapas in SA.. Texas transplant who is now vegan- not worth coming here, did NOT like the vegan taco. Others stated it was a legit Tx bkfast taco- more like taco cabana tho- Best breakfast tacos in LA. Too many great ones to choose from!
