CharlesAgosto 17, 2014Not to be missed when visiting Memphis. Prepare to spend a few hours in the museum and the former boarding house across the street. A fascinating, and somber, tour through African American history.

- Social News NetworkJunio 11, 2012The exhibits include a great amount of information and history on Civil Rights, but the moving documentary on MLK Jr. you cannot miss! There will be an announcement when the film is about to start!
During the summer, the museum stays open until 6 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. Also, you can get in for free on most Mondays from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. with a Tennessee state I.D.
