- Burcu UçarayAbril 20, 2018This is a huge museum. You can spend 3-4 hours easily. The Children’s Museum on the ground floor is great for kids.
- Fred Appiah-OpokuFebrero 10, 2018Great exhibitions. They have a huge amount of artifacts and we spent a good 2 hrs walking through the museum. I recommend the Copenhagen Card, as admission is free.
- The international section upstairs is amazing. The old display cases and just right lighting is something straight out of a Wes Anderson movie. You could spend hours looking through it all. 👍

- As for the collection, it is outstanding, so please go. The pre-historic part has just been brought up to date and is of internatinal standard. For kids, visit Børnemuseet at the ground floor.

- First time visitors and tourists shouldn't miss the 'Danish Prehistory' exhibition and the 'Stories of Denmark 1660-2000' exhibtion. Begin your visit just to the left of the entrance hall.
- Jakub SMayo 15, 2018There is a photo booth with clothes from 1700-1900 which you can use and create your own style :) . Booth is open till 4:30 pm . Exhibitions start to close at 4:45 pm from the bottom.

- Unfortunately the state museums, including this one, no longer have a free admission. It is free, though, to visit the museum shop and Restaurant/Café Julian.
