Order mozzarella sticks and the salami (ricotta) toast. Dip the sticks in the fresh ricotta. Then sit back and wait for the heart attack, so you can die a happy man. In memory of P-Hayes.

Chophel NamgyalEnero 6, 2017Chicken parm hero is a 8.5/10. The seeded bread is perfect, the cheese is excellent, the cutlet was pretty good maybe a tad over done. I've had better and much hotter out of the oven. I'd come back!
The New Plan: Bring a friend and go splitty-split on the mozz sticks (as an appetizer, obvs) and the Chicken Parm and Saratoga Club (chicken salad mixed w/ potato chips!). Cool old-school red sauce vibe with classic rock (lots of Billy Joel) playing.
It's hard to pass up the famous chicken parm but the saratoga club is amazing too. You just have to get a side of house made mozzarella too if you go that way!
I know everyone goes for the chicken parm, but if you're not feeling something that heavy the Saratoga Club is excellent: chicken salad, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, zesty mayor & potato chips.

- Listen, the chicken parm & mozz sticks will blow your mind, but if you're feeling a little #FatDenny the chopped salad (with chicken) is a real sleeper hit. Do it!
Everything is delicious. Pay attention to the difference between the chicken parm and chicken cutlet sandwiches. My fave is the eggplant parm sandwich.

In a neighborhood filled with excellent restaurants, Parm is probably my favorite. I always get my sandwiches on a roll because the bread tastes better than the hero. Plus it saves you room for cake!

- Just one of the damned best places in NYC. The ricotta toast is magnificent (though ask for more toast if you are more than 2), Chicken Parm roll is sweet, and don't miss the ice cream cake.

Unfathomable.- Ask if they have the Rock Shrimp Bruschetta - a special seasonal item. It's like the crazy delicious cousin to the lobster roll - the cousin you want to eat over and over and over again.

Welcome to one of my favorite places to eat. You seriously can't go wrong with anything on this menu but I suggest: turkey on a roll, chicken parm platter, Saratoga Club, and the ice cream cake!

It's hard to believe a turkey sandwich can be this good. It's thick cut, roasted in some delicious spices, and finished off with a spicy mayo on top.

Place is pretty small but service is quick and to everyone's surprise they play some dope R&B to top it off- In my experience, the meatball parm (more like a patty) comes out much quicker than the chicken. So if you are here for a quick bite, get the meatball (both are equally delicious though)
- Come for a late lunch on Saturday after the rush. Sit at the bar, order any Hero sandwich, relax and watch some English Premier League action.
Don't let the Mozzarella Stick Mafia strong-arm you: Get the garlic bread deluxe (garlic bread + ricotta + marinara) and never look back.

the Saratoga Club gets lost in the shuffle but is my sleeper choice for best sandwich. and despite everyone raving about the buffalo cucumbers, the broccoli rabe is far superior.

Be careful when you try the eggplant parm. It's so good that you'll never be able to order eggplant parm from any other place. This is the price of perfection.

Loved the mozzarella sticks, baked ziti & eggplant roll. Also, the spicy rigatoni that comes with the platter!
