The home of the artist William Hogarth (d.1764) has been open to the public since 1904. The mulberry tree at the front of the house is 300 years old, so Hogarth would’ve known it well.

Managers here is a great chap. If you like your Italian BMT's Thursday is the day to visit as it's sandwich of the day on Thurs. Get it toasted on Italian Herb and Cheese bread. Nom nom.
Run by Ghurkas so professional and considerate service. Always good food and great value. Takeaway is from the main buffet selection for just over £5. Same as just one dish elsewhere. Result.
They stock Brothers toffee apple cider (strawberry cider too) and are open an hour after the nearby Co-op closes
