The chirashi don here is absolutely amazing! They also have tamari for the gluten free. Best sushi in the city and really great music too!
As good as the rumors - chirashi was excellent with a good variety of fish well balanced with the acid in the rice. Will def come back
Combos are good for lunches. I often get combo C - with a few sides of tamago roll and sashimi.
How on earth do they make their California rolls taste better than every other place in the city? It's a California roll! How is that possible?

This is REAL sushi. Not your typical Vancouver sushi spot. Great food, great music, great ambiance all in the heart of Gastown.
I ♥ every single thing I ordered. The Negitoro roll is very tasty. Can't wait to finish off trying the entire menu.

Signature roll always interesting. Try the ume shiso maki (sour plum) yummy
The fish quality here is unbelievable. Seriously.
- Try the Tobiko nigiri and ask Shori to put a quail egg on it. Believe me.
- Try the Chrashi Bowl - Lunch at Sea Monster Sushi with some sake
- Sea Monstr now has a liquor licence. 4 kinds of sake and the only Bottoms Up Beer machine in Canada!
