Cheeseburger chowder in a bread bowl, the fresh chips, the ice cream selection. These people do it right. I love the decor, and the way I feel while I am there.

Everything about this place is absolute perfection. I would even go as far as to say it's the perfect coffee shop. Definitely try the muffins and the turtle mocha and get a table by a window- Great atmosphere. Plenty of room. Great place to get work done or study. Free refills on coffee. If you love tarimisu, it's amazing! Also check out the unique lattes and mochas like the Nutty Irishman

The coffee & bakes goods are SOLID. My absolute favorite, however, is the “Smokey Row”, it’s a chocolate shake/malt with a shot of espresso blended in. It’s MAGNIFICENT!
The pumpkin spice latte with soy milk is very good and the people that work there are very friendly and give great customer service.- Cheeseburger soup in a bread bowl is to die for! And the cheesecake choices make it my favorite coffee shop in town.
Best coffee shop in town! Always run into at least two people I know every time!! Good place to conduct business, bible study, games & hang out

Their Hot Fudge Mocha is a favorite of mine. I often go through their drive thru before I hop on I-235.- Espresso shake with extra shots=in love!!! I live on Starbucks but this place is an awesome establishment that earns my patronage!
If you love chocolate or brownies, get one of the Espresso brownies by the cash register. You will not be disappointed.- I always get a mocha, and I love the cheeseburger chowder in the bread bowl.

With some of the best coffee in Des Moines smokey row is one of the new places to do homework or just catch up with friends!
If you are debating between a caffeinated drink and something sweet go for the smokey row shake. It has shots of espresso and ice cream.

Try the Chocolate Chai! If you want to make it healthier, ask them to make it with milk. Even if you are not fond of Chai, you will love this!

If you love coffee AND ice cream you don't have to choose. Get a Smokey Row shake. Delicious!
Any of their teas are a great choice. Soothing, delicious, and free refills on your pot as well!

Don't tell my mom, but Smokey Row's chili is just as good as her homemade recipe! Try it on a chilly day for a hearty treat.

Try the Vanilla Chai! It's AMAZING! It tastes like crumb cake..only in the liquid form. Excellent atmosphere here too! (bring stuff to study if you want!)- Espresso is the best! Also good smoothies with soymilk.
- Vanilla Voodoo Chai. Great drink for a casual evening or night time study session!
Blueberry muffins will melt-in-your-mouth- ask for it warmed up!
The smokey row shake is delicious, but I highly recommend the egg nog shake during the holidays.- Chicken pot pie lunch special was very good. EAt MoRE chIKEn!
Order the Blushing Pink Latte! It's a delicious raspberry mocha drink, and only here for a limited time in February.
Get a booth, grab a cup of Highlander Grog, and enjoy. :-)
