Get the Devil burger (cuz seitan, git it?) or the tofu scramble. They make their own soy ice cream so get a milkshake while you're at it.
An absolute breakfast classic in the 24th Street corridor. Great stylish old fashioned diner with a huge menu and capacity to make great milkshakes and malts

Friendly staff, great food, classic vibe. Going strong for over 100 years. I’ve met grown-ass adults from the neighborhood whose parents went on their first date here as teens.

The food is way better than your average greasy diner food. But you won't get Flo serving you here....lots of tattoos instead. Which is great, if you get one with a good attitude.

They do a great Eggs Benedict on the weekends. Also: Sourdough French Toast.

Go here. It's not meant to be a carnival of happiness. It a greasy spoon and does exactly what you'd expect from one. Plus, food's good and the milkshakes are tops.
