Get the creamy jalapeño. Add a meximart. Did you know you can order ala carte? No more pesky beans and rice.
How have I never found this place? Good cocktails, decent wine by the glass. Food was good although not the most inspired. Dessert was ok. Definitely will be back. Waiter was great too.
Excellent bahn mi. Good service. It's a smaller restaurant in a terrible strip mall but ignore that and go. Lots of menu items you don't see in the myriad other Vietnamese restaurants in Austin.
Wow this is a larger Twin Liquors than most. Excellent wine selection and lots of uncommon scotches. Too bad it's so far away.
Yummy little French cafe. Good bottled beer and cheese selections. Tasty food. Service was a little slow. Despite other tippers, the chocolate cookie is not that amazing (see: Steeping Room)
Where else can you spend $100 on an organic wholesome fish? They do have a great beer section which you can enjoy while you shop.
Don't make the mistake of filling up on salad even if it is amazing!

You can't visit Taipei without stopping here! Just tell the taxi "ee-ling-ee" in a high tone of voice and voila! Tons of good restaurants and a view to die for.
Go to spot for reasonably priced sports gear. Good selection of sporting goods, camping and fishing stuff, guns and ammo. Prices usually competitive.
Awesome coffee on the lake. Toddy's are bottomless. Good pastries and ice cream to go with. Wifi is free. Staff wasn't the friendliest.
An Austin required eatery. Get something awesome and slather it in Diablo sauce. Lines can get long but the food is incredible.
Wow great concept! Nondescript building, seems a little simple, but honestly lots of fun! Bring a good team and try to solve the puzzle. It wasn't easy but it also wasn't impossible.
Austin Classic. Go for the XXX chili which is awesome, but expect to pay the price tomorrow. They also have some basic Mexican fare.
Nice to have a solid BBQ spot in the east side. Excellent ribs. Brisket good but not the best. Their sauce is sweet but good. The side options are fairly limited but who needs sides? Meat!!

Excellent grilled Japanese BBQ. Go with a small group, give them a budget, let them bring you whatever they want. The cubed beef was some of the best steak I've had in Taipei. Very tender!
Karaoke! Reasonable selection of English music. Microphones were all good quality. Comfortable couches.
Good food. Supposedly the original place for bubble tea which was very good with small pearls.
A must see spot in Taipei. The owner is awesome. The mango is delicious. They sell every mango product available but the main item is the snow ice. Mango beer, mango mask, mango cakes, etc.
Great spot for Japanese inspired food. Reasonably priced set menu gets you lots of courses and options. Always yummy and menu changes often enough to keep it interesting.
