This must be the biggest flea market in the world - so easy to get lost but so much fun exploring and finding interesting stalls selling everything you could imagine

Absolutely superb cocktails in beautiful cave surrounding. Tapas generally good but a bit expensive and a few dishes don't quite hit the spot. Awesome calamari
High quality restaurant for special occasions. Very tasty menu and good service. Gets very busy and very noisy at weekends. The Tornados Rossini is to die for. Brilliant red wines too - 9 out of 10
Good quality noodle bar with interesting combos and options. Nasi Goreng dishes are decent - take out rather than eat in as not the nicest seating and tables

This museum is much bigger than you'd expect with a multitude of exhibitions and mummies - fascinating. Can get really busy but worth the crowds
Difficult to get a good photo with all the posers knocking about. You'd think they were on a catwalk with all the pouting. Be patient. Face of the Sphinx is badly weathered and smaller than imagined
One of the greatest places on earth. Marvel at theses incredible wonders. You don't realize how hot it is inside until you come back up for air and the desert wind feels cold on your face!
Christ on a bike! If you ever dreamed of seeing the Golden Arches its in Luxor - full air con and peace out of the blistering heat and away from the hoards of pushy tuk tuk vendors. Cracking views too
Bring plenty of water as not a lot of shade. Visit some of the lesser known tombs as they are just as interesting as the better known ones
City steeped in immense history. Plenty to see and do whilst managing to relax and catch the sun too. Get a recommended taxi driver - the good ones really look after you. Hassle from locals - standard
Good photo opportunity. Incredible to think this once stretched the entire distance between Karnak and Luxor Temples
Temple is in incredible condition considering its age - the outside is equally interesting as the inside
Beautiful monument - the money shot is from the outside - not a huge amount inside. Unbearably hot walk up to it during the day - bring an umbrella for shade!
Awesome set of temples - take your time going round. Some very impressive statutes and columns. Come back for the light show in the evening
