Great place for ramen! There's always a line up but it goes by quick. You have to purchase a ticket with your meal order before hand. The staff spoke good enough English to help us out.
If you're a vegetarian or vegan but wanna eat ramen, try "Vegan Veggie Soba". It's all made of veggies. You can choose rice noodles for gluten-free. You'll love it :)
Great chicken based ramen and tsukemen. Order by vending machine, there's no English on the buttons so it's difficult to order without help but whatever you order will be great.
The ¥1550 chashu men is HUGE. VERY porky soup and rough and ready chashu. Soup is good.
Both gyoza and the signature ramen were great. Went for the regular heat wise and it was pretty hot. Just right for me but have been paying for it today. Thankyou Japan for your amazing lav's.

Fu-Unji. Simple put, the best ramen I've ever had thus far. Get the 950Yen Tsukemen and take a seat. Separate plates for broth and noodles which is nice. Leave with the biggest smile on your face.

This century-old soba shop is a true hole-in-the-wall gem. Thin noodles are complemented perfectly with seasonal ingredients that will make you want to slurp at top volume -a high compliment in Japan!
The best beef katsu by far !!!!!! Only go to this one. I've tried a lot of the others but doesn't compare . Wait for the long line or get in at odd times. Worth it
This place is so delicious and worth the wait. It's super tiny; so ideal for two or three people. This was my first meal in Tokyo and I'll never forget it.
Ohitsuzen - choice of meat or fish (choose bbq Eel) on a bowl of rice, with various condiments and miso soup. You mix it all together with brown rice tea. It's delicious and very cheap! 1850Y each.

The shop only serve one item : katsudon. The dish was perfectly executed. The secret lies in the dipping sauce which made the chicken, egg and rice blended so well together.

We waited in line for 40 minutes on a Saturday, it was worth it! Nice, rich broth, thin noodles and a good ajitsuke. They spoke English and the vending machine was easy to navigate without Japanese.
Cheap and good. Get the Saba set. The atmosphere however is mildly depressing and the crickets chirping on loop is really strange.
If you can't make it during the specific lunch and dinner hours at the original stand-alone location, this outpost in the basement/train station is a good alternative. Very recommended for foodies.
Awesome tantanmen. Broth was flavourful and surprisingly light, maybe a bit too sour for my taste. Noodles were thin and tasty, egg was perfectly cooked but chashu was definitely the highlight!
The service is great (quick, friendly and with a smile) . The carrot soup with turmeric was such a delicious choice for a winter day. I loved it!

The premium katsu was very rich- come with an empty stomach! The pork miso soup was delicious too. They have four kinds of salt, hot mustard, and katsu sauce as condiments for the katsu. So yummy!

Basic but well presented burger with wonderfully fresh and puffy buns and a good selection of extras. You can order them without the side basket of tater-tots and hash brown if you'd like.

Try the つけそば - つけそば580円、味玉80円、もやし100円。コスパがすごい。もやし皿に盛り盛りだしw ちょい焦った。もやしの入った皿は、下に醤油ラーメンの汁が少し引いてあるね。Goodです。
Interesting tanmen style ramen. All bowls come topped with a decent portion of veggies. Deluxe version had thickly sliced pork and the runny egg. I preferred their chicken karage to their gyoza.
