The special exhibitions are always worth seeing. But don't forget about the permanent exhibitions, there always great art to see in them and they're free!
Very nice gallery! The permanent exhibition is free to visit! Free WiFi!I very enjoyed Asian collections which until 13 mar.2016. Also there are nice cafes! I hope I back here sone! ✌️😊
I wished I had more time here and will go back the next time I am in Sydney. We paid extra for the Archibald, Wynn and Sulman exhibit and was well worth it. Do it!
Went to art after hours and it was fun. There is talks and tours. We went to see a Japanese exhibition and there there was a interview done with a local tattoo artist who does full body Japanese tats
Just as Melbourne's cool, ordered NGV exemplifies its city, Sydney's AFNSW is a bewildering clusterf*ck of architectural styles. Dig deep for a wonderfully diverse collection: Wednesday is late night
Restaurant on the Mezzanine level (NE corner) provides excellent views across the Harbour and The Wharf. Hidden gem. Menu is pretty good value and food generally good quality.
Bit sad that the only van gogh in australia gets dispayed like it does!! Poor form. The audio app for the gallery has major room for improvement. Loved the wifi- it works!! Fabulous indigenous art
At their cafe and ordered the frittata, sat outside and a bird snatched it, the cafe kindly provided me with a whole new lunch! And fast + excellence service

A stuffy gallery with no vibe and very little exciting art. It has a horrible contemporary collection and the exhibitions change infrequently. Every time I go it's a disappointment, why do I bother.
Established in 1871, the Gallery is proud to present fine international... and Australian art in one of the most beautiful art museums in the world. We aim to be a place of experience and inspiration, through our collection, exhibitions, programs and research.(Mostrar más)
