    I think I had the greatest mashed potatoes of my life here. No joke. If they have the steak and kidney pie, I highly recommend pushing all things aside to make room for this monumental dish. Amazing.

    On the expensive side but completely worth it if you love British food and beer. On my last visit I had Fullers London Porter, a great pub curry and sticky toffee pudding. Very friendly service too.

    So good! Try the chocolate pie with sea salt ice cream for dessert. Make a reservation or be prepared to sit at the communal table. Nice outdoor area, decent beer list.

    Food is very English but delicious. Try the cocktails--they make great use of just beer and wine. And if you're lucky enough to get Renee as your waitress, all the better!

    Try the JWF burger with stilton cheese (it's like blue cheese) with fries. Add the bacon if you want to make it better. Delicious cheeseburger on the upper east side.

    Closest thing to a proper British pub in NYC. Chicken liver pate was great. Personally prefer soft/medium scotch eggs but still great here. Roast was good.

    Try the white bait fish appetizer if they have it. It's an entire minnow looking fish deep fried with tarter sauce on the side. It's an adventure for the table.

    The burger was fantastic and the beer selection is impressive, but the marrow was a disappointment, especially given what I'm used to at The Grange in Hamilton Heights.

    Brunch is a bit overpriced. $23 for fish (one over cooked piece) & chips. The English breakfast was only okay. The blood sausage was dry.
