If you have a dog that loves the water this is the place in Paulus Hook to go. So if you like throwing sticks for dogs into the water there are plenty of volunteers to go get them.

One of the best parks in New Jersey. Amazing views of New York City and the Statue of Liberty. Watch out during a summer full moon. Photographers love to crowd the pavilion as the moon rises.

In 2014,Macy's moved their July 4th fireworks show to the east river... So what? The largest fireworks show in the state of New Jersey takes place here, in front of the Statue of Liberty.
Bring your walking shoes, sense of humor for people watching, the awes for the engagement/wedding pictures(recommended location), laughs for the fishermen, and ready for picture moments!!!
Less than 2,000 feet from the Statue of Liberty lies one of Jersey's best 4-mile running paths. Great for biking too!

Excellent walking trails on the waterfront. Great views of NYC and the backside of the Statue of Liberty. The diverse crowd at the park highlights one of the many great aspects of city living.
If you're a runner, this place is the best for long runs - a nice flat 4-mile loop, bathrooms, easy parking, and all in the shadow (figuratively) of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline.

From downtown Jersey City, enter via the pedestrian bridge at the end of Jersey Ave. A bike/walking lane was paved across the gravel lot last year so it's a smooth ride all the way in!
Spectacular views. Get place to energize from the craziness in the city.

Really good bike trails, Beautiful views of Manhattan, exchange place, Lady Liberty and Verrazano Bridge- One of the only places in Jersey City that you can safely let your dog of its lead. Even a little beach for the water-loving dogs.

Great place for a walk, run, or bike ride. Just be mindful of the cars.
Love this playground. Very spacious with a great view of the city. Only wish they had swings for the kids.
