Artisanal baked products near SOMA. Moderately expensive but worth every penny. The daily special loaf is great and only $2 more than a loaf from Acme.

The pistachio blackberry twice baked croissant 😍 mostly pastries here, so eat something before and come for a post-breakfast or lunch treat.

This is the best bakery in San Francisco! The staff is super friendly, and both the sweet and savory goods are excellent. I personally love the Kimchi toast. Mm mm good!

Closes "2pmish" according to the sign so it might close a bit later or earlier. Today I got my croissant at 2:07 right before it closed

Guava pastelitos are my favorite pastries in SF. Bostocks and dough buns are also good.

Speciality items are fantastic but the plain croissant is the best I've had in years - buttery, flaky perfection.

Cute spot but good pastries run out pretty early in the morning. The almond bonstock (spelling?) and ginger pull apart are favs. The ham/cheese morning bun and doughp are not as good.

Yummy and expensive but probably comparable to other small pastry shops. I like the kimchi toast for savory, the guava and cheese pastelito for sweet, and the croissant for whatever.

Thanks to this place, I'm now broken, I'm from Europe and I just can't find a croissant so perfect like the ones the produce here. I'm on a search of something like it here now. This is a hidden gem

Greg Mindel slow-ferments his dough, which lends a distinctive tangy taste to his exquisitely layered pastries. Don’t miss the sauerkraut, smoked cheddar, and peppadew tart studded with black sesame. Leer más

Great coffee shops, Neighbor Bakehouse is a welcome addition. Good coffee, wonderfully friendly staff, and some of the best and most eclectic pastries I’ve ever eaten.
