    One of the best openings of 2015. Jang Jo Rim ("buttered rice" with beef and eggs), truffled seafood broth with crispy rice, and honey butter chips. Great value, takes reservations.

    Wow. Best Korean meal I can recall. Everything was great, but the honey butter chips are life changing. The smoked mackerel is not something I'd usually order but it was fantastic. Fried chicken too

    Very good Korean tapas! Perfect spot for date night. We think we did it right with scallops, octopus, dumplings and spicy pork wraps. Bf was somehow still hungry and housed the honey chips for dessert

    modern take on traditional korean dishes done well. ssam platter was wonderful and came with sticky rice and lettuce wraps. pine smoked mackerel was incredible. very nice ambience as well.

    Super flavorful Korean fusion cuisine. The mushrooms in the salad are the best I have ever had and the scallops are beautiful and fresh. Save room for chips for dessert.

    Absolutely unreal, one of the best Korean meals I've had in a long time. Come with a date, share 5-6 dishes. The stars: fried chicken and pork belly & kimchi.

    Not your regular kind of Korean restaurant. This offers a more modern take with the traditional flavored. The fried chicken is delicious so is the buckwheat noodle dish.

    Scallop dish is omg. Ssam for two is fun; French cab franc was a great pairing reco from our friendly waiter. He was great, and this place is also great if you like cocktails.

    Fried chicken + 🍻was delish, 🍄 salad was unique, octopus was one of the best in the city, rice was unreal and the butter chips were totally worth it. Good cocktails too. Definitely a date place.

    This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the city. Jang jo rim buttered rice, Beef tartare, Ssam and Braised Chicken are my recommendations.

    Delicious modern Korean food, plated beautifully, served in a cozy but sleek albeit cramped dining room. Slightly regret not getting the honey butter chips, would definitely go back for butter rice.

    Korean tapas style. Everything was great! Loved the food! But the rice wine (makgeolli) came in a warm cup. Would've been better in an chilled glass like other Korean places do.

    I actually took the honey chips home since we were too full from dinner and had them out of the fridge the following day. They tasted even more delicious when chilled! It was still crunchy!

    Oiji serves modern Korean plates that retain the flavors of the original. Standouts include the Jang Jo Rim, Oxtail with Root Vegetables, and the Ssam Platter for 2.

    Fantastic food - loved everything, especially the "Jang-jo-rim", fried chicken, beef tartare and oxtail. Soju tasting was fun. They were out of the butter chips.

    The food hits the presentation harder than the taste. It's a fun experience but I wasn't wowed by anything. Except the chips. Definitely get the chips for dessert. Service could also greatly improve.

    go here, and order as many plates as possible! it's all fantastic, and yes, the honey butter chips really are as good as everyone talks them up to be (and don't worry about adding the ice cream)
