Houston-based restaurant's NYC outpost. An interesting take on Indian breakfast (and lunch). Great flavors... but the portions are small while the prices are big.

Creative and really tasty Indian. It they really need to professionalize the management. Completely mismanaged bar and service. Space is too big for what they're trying to do.

Really good! Only place I know where you can get upma :) great change of pace from normal Indian restaurants. Recommend the beet uttapam for breakfast (they serve it until 3!).

For all the vegetarian and vegan folks out there, the meatless Monday menu is robust and delicious! The Peanut Noodles were plentiful, delicious and SPICY!

Great modern Indian cafe. The morning thali was tasty, healthy, and a great introduction to different Indian flavors. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the kitchen staff at work.

Everything is delicious but their brunch and pastries are best. A paradise for gluten-free and/or vegan desserts!

Stopped in here for a drink before the sex museum, they have some very cool Indian inspired cocktails. The golden mule (Moscow mule plus turmeric) is delicious

As someone familiar with this sort of food, it gets 4/5 for atmosphere and 3/5 for flavor. But the bill was twice what it should have been (half of us had a cocktail) and I felt full for two days!

Definitely get a Thali but you'll need more than that as they are on the small side 😋

Legitimate South Indian food. With good baked things as well. Upma was on point.

Usually not crowded, but if you are in a hurry for your curry... sit at the bar and go for the chicken or veggie dishes.

This isn't traditional Indian, but modern, a bit experimental, and hip. Great service.

Nice people and place, but overrated. Food is beautifully plated but at the expense of actual taste (e.g. overly spiced wings, saag paneer wasn't cubed). Creative dishes. Good dessert

People can stop by to grab chai tea and a pastry, or they can order breakfast or lunch at the counter and sit for a while. Dinner will a little more formal, with table service and reservations. Leer más

there’s better, and cheaper Indian to be had elsewhere. portions are tiny and flavours are lacking...feels like they are trying too hard to be hip

Not worth it at all. Over priced for bland food that's trying too hard to be trendy. Curry Hill or Little India is WAY better and cheaper.
