    Ken Forkish focuses on classics, a half-dozen takes on oysters and/or clams, and an eat-how-you-like menu highlighting roasted veggies, haute bar snacks, and meaty plates like rabbit fricassee.

    Great ambience for a date or small group. Bartender is terrific, server Kelsey was absolutely great, and the food was awesome. Favorite place in Portland so far.

    Everything we tried was fantastic (mussels, fries with malt vinegar, steak frites, gulf prawns with almond sauce...). Big plus, their bread made feel like home (France). Very nice staff too

    Started with a Manhattan and the chicken liver toast. Whoa. Followed it up with the double cheeseburger. Fantastic food quality. Thoughtful preparation. A lot of love goes into the food.

    Fresh baked bread each day at 4pm! If you eat at the Tavern be sure to get the house-churned butter. Great seafood, and daily specials worth perusing.

    Flatbread, grits, them Brussels sprouts, roasted cauliflower, mint chocolate chip ice cream bar...I can go on. This place has it all, great for sharing.

    Some of the best cocktails you can get in Portland. The Tipperary (shown in the photo) is magnificent.

    Don't share your pimento double cheeseburger. The braised beef sandwich is incredibly bland. Stay away.
