Shem Creek Park includes a lengthy boardwalk that leads to Charleston Harbor. A perfect place for photography, the boardwalk ends where shrimp boats dock and you can almost always see wild dolphins.
The Shem Creek Inn is surrounded by some delicious restaurants. Both Vickery's and Waters Edge are within walking distance and many other favorites are a short drive away.
Not up to the Shem Creek seafood standard. Our dish (lowcountry saute) was surprisingly bland. The bars are poorly stocked. Restaurant was understaffed, so wait times were horrible even early.
Worst Jambalaya ever, sticky and sweet. I mean take it off the menu or change the recipe. Add heat and spice not sugar. Yuck. Ate shrimp and tiny scallops only, the rest was inedible.
