William Ng: The Baked Potato Gnocchi has excellent texture and the accompanying miso bechamel sauce is bursting with rich flavour. Lapped it all up without feeling 'jelak' (overwhelmed) after.
William Ng: The 7-course degustation menu (RM168++) can feed two in my opinion. My favourite is the prawn galette & XO scallop sauce. Bouncy texture and bursting with seafood flavours.

William Ng: Value for money Japanese restaurant with a casual al fresco dining space out front. Prices are averagely below RM20, and quite generous in terms of ingredients.
William Ng: Lotus root soup (RM8) is a good choice for a rainy evening. Curry pork is thick with lots of spices, but mild enough for the kids. Nam Yu fried chicken wings (RM15 for 3) is also recommended.
William Ng: A large church that can accommodate roughly 800 parishioners. Simple and spacious interior. During the Jubilee Year of Mercy in 2025, it was one of the five Pilgrim churches for the KL Archdiocese.
William Ng: Nasi lemak, or pulut, or chu cheong fun. Pretty decent nasi lemak you ask me.The rice is OK, just the sambal needs a bit more kick. are the mass-produced variety. Ayam goreng berempah is moist.

William Ng: Hidden deep in a residential area. Air conditioned interior that is bright and clean. Thick soup style with mild herbal taste. Meat was tender, intestines not the multilayer type.
William Ng: While waiting for the kanko bus, I enjoyed a beer and rice wrapped with bacon skewer here. Simple yet delicious snack. The lady was very friendly too. Various merchandise sold.
William Ng: Interior is a tad cramped and it's popular among the Japanese, so it's not so easy to get a seat inside. If you sit inside, there's free water and egg. The alternative is to order takeout.
William Ng: Several elephants live here, adults and young ones. There is a briefing area with a changing room, but no toilets. We were given a bag of sugarcane to feed the elephants. Lot of close interaction.
William Ng: Popular kaiten sushi restaurant in the vicinity of Tobu Hills. Avoid the rush hours as the wait can be long. Manual order using a chit. Not to worry as they have an English menu. Halibut soup is good
William Ng: As you enter, you get a retro vibe, traditional Japanese decorations, and shiny oiled wood. The toilets are unisex, but the public bath is segregated (not onsen). The stairs are narrow.
William Ng: A memorable stay here in terms of service level, hospitality, and comfort. Truly a modern edit of the ryokan experience. The meals are also amazing.
William Ng: A leisurely walk will through some forest and tall shrubs will bring you to the waterfall. Roundtrip is around 40 minutes. Pretty cliffs. Water not gushing, but it's nice.
William Ng: Had the bacon cheese burger for breakfast and I absolutely love it. Not greasy and the patty is moist. Comes loaded with cheese, pickles and onions (deliciously sweet).
William Ng: There's a queue, but the turnover is high, so not to worry. The mee kolo noodles are really springy and look authentic. The Sarawak Laksa seems a tad weak. I've tasted soup with stronger flavours.

William Ng: The soup here is very clear, with a hint of sweetness. Fishball Noodles is RM10 while the seafood noodles (fishball, fish fillet, and succulent clams) is RM20. Like the texture of the fishballs.

William Ng: Another maze-like bookstore with hidden books and crannies, unexpected corners and shapes. Some parts look downright retro. Mixed materials like wood, aluminium, stucco, etc.

William Ng: Langos and Hash Belly are recommended. The former is a Czech mini pizza of sorts with a good crunch. The latter is a nice mix of potatoes, bacon, roasted pork, leek, and apple sauce.

William Ng: Enjoyed the salmon sushi taco, and freshness of the budo Hotate tataki (sea grapes too shriveled though). Koebi karaage is a great beer snack, love the tangy dip. B1F1 drinks promotions till 8pm.

William Ng: A large San Damiano cross hangs above the main altar, much revered by the Franciscans. The cross is actually a lightbox. Another lightbox near the ceiling is of the Ascension of Jesus.
William Ng: One of the classier pet-friendly cafes that I've seen. Quite popular. Clean, and no unpleasant smell. Decent coffee and flavoured tea. Friendly service.

William Ng: Deli style restaurant where you can choose your own meat from the chiller. Classy interior. The Iberico Abanico is recommended. 30% fattiness, tender and juicy.
William Ng: Solid Chinese cuisine is served here. Matches my Malaysian Chinese taste buds. Proper stir fry. Recommended dishes are the osmanthus 'sharks fin', claypot eggplant, sambal prawns, French beans.
William Ng: The tiramisu has a good Matcha flavour. The kuro banana has too strong a banana taste, completely overpowering the houjicha. Tried a cup of ceremonial tea. Just a few sips in there.

William Ng: Dr Sam Tseu is very patient-centered, and has excellent bedside manners. He will take the time to explain and present options. I have done polishing & scaling, and fillings, and I am satisfied
William Ng: Non-halal Gelato and sorbets. Childsberg is recommended. A very refreshing sorbet of passionfruit, beer, and shandy. The texture is good, and it doesn't melt easily.
