Old school kopitiam (chaotic traffic and parking situation at a busy intersection, super smoky environment) with a pretty good satay stall. Generous with the meat (and fat), and quite moist.
Liver was grilled to perfection, and I liked the soft bone. Iberico was RM20, not worth it. Buta Don is also recommended. Enjoyed the house pour sake.Katon fries stayed crispy even with loads of sauce
Restaurant located above Carnation Salon, an old school hairdresser. Porchetta has a generous layer herbs, and is served with crackling skin. The seafood risotto has rich flavours.
Great place for cheap, authentic Sarawak favourites. Enjoyed the big portion of fried mee kolok. Comes with charsiew slices abd prawns. Not greasy. Sarawak Laksa is fragrant too. Sit outside.

Upstairs cafe with lots of natural light and charming interior. Love the fact that the coffee options are cheaper than the average cafe. The Espresso Mojito (RM14) is a very refreshing drink.
Cumi-cumi which is a hot salad topped with pan-friend calamari. Roti kambing bakar came with lots of wedges, but I just found it average. Not as good as Vietnamese BanhMi.
Pet-friendly neighbourhood mall. Some of the F&B outlets are also pet-friendly, and there are pet-friendly lifts. During the weekends, there's also a pet-friendly flea market outside.
Small cafe with a couple of signature dishes and baked goods (cake, croissant, coconut bun, sourdough, etc). The beef noodles (RM18) were pretty impressive with tender slices of beef, and radishes.
The cheese pork ribs is highly-recommended. The ribs are served with topokki, and a semi-spicy sauce. The cheese can be refilled once. Single portion is enough for 2.

The deep-fried battered prawn is very crispy and recommended. The calamari has super thick flesh and very nice. Crabs were good too. Tofu a tad salty. Chicken dish was too dry. Stick with the seafood.
Sometimes they have unique items like BKT pies, and quiches. Loved the churros (RM22, weekends only). Light, with a crisp, not sickly sweet, not greasy at all. Friendly service.

Nice mix of food-- Korean, Indian, mainland Chinese, Italian, Hokkien Mee, oyster omelette, pastry, etc. The briyani with mutton curry is pretty good, and really spicy. Love their teh tarik too.
Good CKT. Not oily, with Chinese sausages. No prawns though. MYR3.50 for the regular plate.

Popular German restaurant at Damansara Kim. Hits and misses. Rolled Stuffed Pork Belly is moist with crackling skin. Garlic Cheese Baked Mussels is also great to share.
Come here for the original roulade. Moist, tender meat with crackling skin. Goes insanely well on nasi lemak too. I don't like the caramelized version. Pork Bolognese is too sweet for my liking.
An open air art installation located in the ruins of the colonial Land and Surveys Building that was razed by fire in 1992. All that's left are 30 pillars.
Lamb Brisket in Claypot is a must-order. The lamb is tender and not gamey. Stir-fried Long Bean & Eggplant with Dry Shrimp sounds simple, but the dried shrimp will make you asking for more rice.
