Don KingAgosto 12, 2012Nice place. Easy to get to Metro 72st Express to 34st Penn, convenience stores close by. Wi Fi weak. Hot water in rooms takes a while to come throuh. lifts take a while.

PelleMarzo 26, 2011If you're to the US for only a few days, don't bother with the 12 USD per day wifi. Go to T-Mobile across the street (open 10am until 8pm) and get a SIM card for your Mifi or laptop: Pay as Go + Day W
The elevators move at a snail's pace. Since you are using FourSquare, you are likely young enough to just take the stairs and save time.

Great modern rooms. Cocktail hours pretty chill.

My favorite hotel in NY. Between the Riverside Park and the Central Park. Amazing neighbourhood.
Check the balconies on the 14th and 16th floor for the views!

Rooms are clean/new and staff is friendly but wifi in rooms comes with a fee ($14). No fridge and bathroom amenities are ridiculous. Don't bother staying uptown unless you have an unbeatable rate.
DO NOT do breakfast at Serefina next door. Service is slow, food is cold. Mgmt just stands around and watches the staff struggle to keep up. Better places up on Amsterdam with better food for same $.
