A little more expensive than some of the surrounding hotels but definitely worth the extra cost. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!
I got one of each kind of taco. They were all 3 really good. I used the red sauce and it was kinda spicy but really flavorful.
I got beef enchiladas and they were good. My son got the #12 (pork with peppers and verde sauce). It was pretty spicy and he didn’t really like it.
We didn’t have a reservation and they were short staffed but they accommodated us. I got catfish and grits. Catfish was great but I’m not a fan of grits (but that’s on me because I knew that before)
I got the redfish and it came with green beans. Both were really good!
I got a chicken taco and a brisket sandwich. The taco was just okay but the brisket sandwich was delicious. It was a bit on the spicy side but not too much so.
I love random roadside attractions like this! They are free, make for a cool picture, and give you a chance to stretch your legs on what might be a long drive.
My favorite is the etoufee but the seafood gumbo is pretty good too
I don’t care about the benches and walls. I’ll echo what others have said. Get the beef enchiladas even though they are not listed on the menu.
I got fish tacos and shrimp brochette. Both were excellent but they were not cheap. It cost me $25 and almost filled me up but not quite.
My wife and I both got specials. I got New York Shells and she got Chicken Murphy. Both were really good but I think we both decided that the Shells were better. The Chicken Murphy is a bit spicy.
If you’re a meat lover get The Bob. It had a ton of meat on it and it’s really good!
I got a Dynomite Burger and it was very big and very good. The people are friendly too.
I got spaghetti and meatballs which I thought would be basic but it was far from basic. It was delicious with a sweet sauce. The Italian sausage is also wonderful especially eaten with the spaghetti.
