The mecca of good looking, rich LA people. Expect to see many single people. ravioli were great as well as the fresh salads. I don't remember anything else, Italians caused me a huge headache.
this place is always packed everyday all day. pretty good fare. had some pastas, and they were fantastic, as they ought to be with a name like il pastaio. take advantage of the BH parkingstructures.
The justin bieber pasta is the best pink saucepasta i had in my entire life. 10/10. Best italian restraunt in La. Also recommend the seabass, spaghetti pomadoro, tomato soup. So delicious
we order fried calamari and Burrata cheese its amazing, and the Ossobuco & the Agnolotti with black truffle it outstanding Thanks For Tatiana she is the best service who is handling the booking 👍
Though never been an al dente pasta person had one of the home madeal dente pastas w clams, since they r very popular and claimed to be good, but still not an al dente pasta person😐
Sit at the bar. Rub elbows with the rich. Have a glass or chianti. Fall off the barstool and mumble incoherently. On swcond thought, you may want to skip the last step.
After finishing the amazing tortellini di zucca, head down the road to Paley Center for TV: Out of the Box exhibit by Warner Bros. Features 60 years of TV history! http://bit.ly/TVOTB_Foursquare
A great spot for lunch or dinner with seating available both inside and outdoors, il Pastaio’s handmade pasta and comfortable setting allows guests to dine in true Italian style.
Probably the most overrated Italian restaurant in town - Drago needs to get with it if he wants to keep up with modern, tasty, interesting Italian cuisine, this stuff just doesn't cut it anymore...
start w the Roasted Bell Peppersalad and take it from Bloompy & Mike - the Risotto Nero is to die for - no kidding - on the money!! top it off w Panacotta & you'll be set for the day :)
So far the only place I know outside of Japan that sells ika-no-sumi pasta (black ink pasta), in Il Pastaio's case, it is the Risotto Nero: Done just right!
