This is my fifth day in Columbia and the second visit to this awesome burger shop. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to visit this shop many times in the future. Highly recommended.
Hands down, a Columbia classic. This place is one of the oldest establishments in the city. Want proof? Here's an advertisement for Booches in the 1909 edition of the MU Savitar. Nostalgia ensues.
Been here many times? For something different than the delicious burgers, try the pork loin. It's grilled, not deep fried, and goes well with mustard and grilled onions. Reuben is also a solid choice.
After living in NYC for fifteen years and traveling all over the globe, still the best burgers I've ever had. Warning: I'm here on a Saturday night and there's a high concentration of douche bags.
Pretend like you belong there and everything will be ok. They don't take too kindly to outsiders. Lots of inside jokes around the bar. Oh, and get two burgers with everything.
The service was crap, the burgers are over priced, and they definitely don't take kindly to outsiders, but still probably worth it if you're looking for a good burger and a taste of the local crowd.
