Their signature dishes are the Pineapple Bun and Egg Tarts are that popular. Follow me for more awesome post of Hong Kong & welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.
Egg tart $5, pineapple bun with butter $10, hot milk tea/coffee $17, HK French toast $20. Great value and quality breakfast spot. Small and busy so might be seated with others, English menu available
Famous for polo bun and French toast. Polo buns are served fresh from the oven, crust is crispy and the inside is tender and paired with butter to enhance the taste. Don’t forget the French toast too
with $6 (or $9 with butter) the pineapple bun is great!! super crispy on the surface and it tastes more rich compare to buns in elsewhere. Will def come here more often :D (a drink is a must tho)
Their pineapple bun (sweet bun with a layer of crusted pineapple-flavored top) is extremely delicious. You also have the the option to ask for butter in it. They also have great egg tarts.
Kam Wah Cha Chaan Teng is a timeless gem where tradition meets flavor. Sampling their iconic pineapple bun paired with a rich, aromatic Hong Kong milk tea is a must for any visitor.
The place in Mong Kok to get the afternoon tea classics. Get the triple classics: Egg Tart, Hong Kong style French Toast with syrup and the notorious Pineapple Bun with Butter. Yum!
Famous for their pineapple buns with thick slabs of butter! Very popular and crowded, so there might be a wait, but it won't be long. It's a place for a quick meal. English menus are available.
Iced coffee, pineapple bun, French toast, and egg tart are amazing. I'm going back for the Iced coffee for sure. Piece of advice, eat with your hands or you'll be the elephant in the room.
Best Pineapple Bun I've eaten in HK. Big with a crunchy top. I got the roast pork filling and it was delicious!! $20 for bun. $18 for iced milk tea. Great lunch!
Good service! Their staff always throw a nice smiley. I hardly comment a "good service" to any cafe/restaurant in Hong Kong and this is definitely worth for the good comment.
Pineapple buns at its best, hot milk tea also very high standard. French toast is also recommended. However, beware of the rude service and very tight sitting space..!!
Nice service, the boss is humor and fun, but do remember each person need to order 1 drink if you having here. The boss will teach you how to eat their food if you are eating it wrongly, Haha.
Known for their egg tart, pineapple bun and milk tea. I find the tart and bun only okay, a bit on the sweet side. Though the egg tart has lots of egg custard than usual.
Typical HK breakfast.. Pineapple bun + ice lemon tea were about $25. A great place to be surrounded by locals and escape from the british expat community !
Egg tarts and yuen yong is really good. Doll noodles are pretty decent too. But these char chan tengs are pretty similar in hongkong, just branding, branding, branding.
The butter filled "pineapple" bun is to die for! (Its called pineapple bun cuz the surface looks remotely like a pineapple, so don't worry, its just the name!)
I expected the pineapple bun with butter to be warm and soft, but it turned out to be room temperature.. The top of the bun is really flaky, but the bottom part was too doughy.
