The macarons here are light as air and its an experience in itself biting into one of these babies. Definitely check out their downtown location as well as it is less crowded and has more dining space
In from Paris, this company is seen all over. And they taste just as delicious as they did when on the Eiffel Tower. And just as pricey. $2.75/PC. But well worth for a taste of the City of Lights.
If you haven't been the the Maison Ladurée in Paris, this is a must. If you have been, this is still a must. At $2.75 per macaron, feel free to splurge. We recommend the salted caramel.
Ladurée has successfully made the jump to the US. Stores can be found all across the city, but this location is adorable and has incredible service. Try everything, but Ladurée thy name is macarons!
Best macaroons outside of Paris? YES! Try pistachio, coffee, rose but don't miss out on their seasonal flavors...just break down & get a box for a variety! It lives up to the hype & is worth the line.
Honestly, you can't go wrong here because Ladurée's macarons will keep you coming back for more! I'm slowly making my way through all the delicious flavors.
Amazing macarons. I highly recommend the vanille, fruits rouge and the Marie Antoinette. The mille fuelle was very good as well!! Their tea is also amazing! I recommend the yellow one!
I love this place! Macaroons so light & fluffy they'll have you floating on cloud nine! Friendly staff and it's the perfect place to get your dessert fix! The true gem of Madison Avenue!
This macaron place is straight from Paris and well worth the line. It's a great starting or end point for a stroll down Madison Ave (walk toward 60th St) to do some designer widow shopping.
Celebrating the arrival of summer with a limited edition decadent gift box available for 8 or 18 Macaroons. Definitely include the new summer flavor YuzuGinger.

Rosepetals and salted caramel macaroons are the best. Coffee ice-cream was really good too. Paris-themed displays are gorgeous! As to their no photo policy, we took a bunch of pics, they didn't mind!
I took one bite of the vanillamacaron and almost fell over it was so delicious. I'm not even engaged and am planning to have shelves of them at my wedding.
Don't be fooled by other imitators. This is THE place to get the best macarons! Period. Light, fluffy and melts in your mouth without being sickeningly sweet. A must try.
Best Macaroons in NYC! Be prepared to spend some money though, they are about $2.25 each and you can't just get one! Also, the staff has the cutest uniforms!
If you're unsure what to try first, cannot go wrong with pistachio. If you want to use it as gift, do the 8 macarons in their complimentary box for 22.40 (2.80/per macaron).
Decisiveness pays in the (often interminable) line at this fine purveyor of macarons. When in doubt, go with your gut, or at least ask for a recommendation. There are few ways to go wrong here.
Make sure there's a soft-hued pistachio macaron in your order; add on a vanilla speckled with what seems like a million vanilla beans; and a salty caramel that's bold on the salt.
I'd lose a fortune & gain a ton if I lived any closer...The most heavenly, delicate macarons have arrived from Paris to NYC: orange blossom, rose & ginger, blackcurrant violet, & many more.
Worlds best macaron has landed right on Madison Ave, you would expect the rosepetal ones to taste like potpourri but its actually one of the best flavors. Not too sweet and the filling is so light
The famous macarons certainly have no equal. But at nearly $3.00 apiece, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to indulge in these fine creations on a regular basis. However they do make a fantastic gift.
They are most famous for the macaroons. The have a very intense European butter flavor... Which some people may care for and others may find too be too much.
Make sure to sample the season's specials, especially the Lily of the Valley, Pear & Chestnut, and Chuao Origine Pure Chocolate. Perfect for a lush snack on any day
"Ladurée, the Parisian patisserie founded in 1862, is often envied for its double-decker macaroons, whose flavors shift with the seasons." As seen in Town & Country, September, 2011, page 58
There's no doubt as to why these are the original, and best, macarons in the world. Crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside, one is just never enough.
