The lentil soup comes with their homemade bread and is quite comforting and tasty on a chilly day or when you're sick. The Sigara Boregi and baklavavariations are addictive as well.
We visited this restaurant two times during our san francisco trip and everything was really so delicious 😋 We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we come to SF.
This restaurant is easily the best restaurant in San Francisco! I loved it very much, Turkish cousine is amazing! Everyone should try it out!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lentil soup is pretty good. Given the lack authenticity of turkish restaurants in the area, I can say they are better than average. They served actual pide with the soup instead of pita!
Excellent Turkish cuisine. The kofta plate, pides (pies) are a must. The baklava is always fresh, the rice pudding delicious and the service first class
Amazing food! We just stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. Ordered the house wines, lahmacun (thin breadspicy meaty pizza) and the grilled kofte plate.
San franciscoda yemek tatlari ile gercekten Turk restauranti olarak kalabilmis tek yer.. Diger Turk restaurantlarina gidip dumur olacaginiza buraya gelin ve kendinize gercek bir ziyafet cekin ;))
Try the Chef's Meze Sampler - Wonderful variety of appetizers. Favorites were the smoky baba ganoush, dolmas, and tzaziki sauce. Plenty for three people to share.
In case you didn't know (and I did not) the pides are a bit like pizzas, and the gozlemes are like quesadillas... So far everything I've tried has been quite good.
I've never been disappointed here. I usually get the lahmacun as an appetizer and split either the 34 or 40 plus the 57 with Tom. Make sure to watch the Turkish soap opera on the tv over the door.
